Well, it’s finally happening. Today I am off to India for four weeks hoping, among many other things, to run into this man, Gour Khepa Das:
who does things like this:
Video and links o’plench after zee jump…
He is considered to be part of a looooooooose group of traveling mystic musicians called the bauls. You can read about them here.
I’ll defs be checking in to see what’s up, and will hopefully have opportunities to write a little about Kali Ma, the ghats of Varanasi, Krishna dancing in Vrindavan, and how to avoid packs of vicious blood-thirsty wild dogs.
Other than that, I, like you perhaps, am excited to see what Ernski, Myra Eddy, and the looming House Manager come up with over these next couple of weeks. I’ve been told about a “traveling series,” as well as full moon foods articles, along with the usual wild weirdness.
Also, mark your calendars, The Honorable Robert Nesta Marley’s birthday is coming up on February 6th. I wonder how that will be celebrated in India town…
Oh, and write with us on this blog.
Peace.

The Bauls! I learned about them years ago, researching wandering crazy ascetic types. Safe travels!
